What the public asks

The same questions, at any hour.

The details change from one event to the next, but the questions are of the same kind, and they arrive whenever each person thinks of them: at night or on the way to the venue. The concierge answers them with what the organisers have confirmed.

  • Festivals
  • Concerts
  • Trade fairs
  • Conferences and congresses
  • Sporting events
  • Cultural events

Tickets

  • “What is the difference between the standard and the Premium ticket?”
  • “Are there still tickets for Saturday?”
  • “Do children pay?”

Times and programme

  • “What time do the gates open?”
  • “Who is on stage on the second day?”
  • “Which room is the 3 pm session in?”

Getting there

  • “Where can I park?”
  • “Is there a bus to the venue?”
  • “Which gate is closest to my seat?”

What you can bring

  • “Can I bring food and water?”
  • “Are camping chairs allowed?”
  • “Can I bring a pushchair?”

Accessibility

  • “Is there wheelchair access?”
  • “Does a carer need a ticket?”
  • “Are there accessible toilets?”

Food and a bed nearby

  • “What is there to eat and drink?”
  • “Are there vegetarian options?”
  • “Where can I stay near the venue?”

At a conference, people ask about the badge and the room; at a match, about the gate and the seat; at a festival, about the stage and the time of each concert. The words change, but the job is the same, and the concierge does it with your event's information.

The proof: Rock & Dão 2026

What we learnt at Rock & Dão.

At the festival's first edition, the official concierge served the public at chat.rockedao.pt, in the festival's colours, from launch to close. These figures come from the activity report delivered to the organisers.

91%
of conversations resolved on the spot or forwarded to the right channel
21%
of conversations after 10 pm, when no desk would be open
1 hour
before the gates opened came the peak, on Friday at 4 pm, with the public on their way to the venue
27%
of conversations were about tickets, the number one topic
5
languages, with no one having to switch language
2.8 s
on average to generate each answer, with 100% availability

The answer gives the day, the stage and the time of the concert.
When it does not know

It does not make up times or rules. It forwards to the right channel.

The concierge answers only with the information the organisers have confirmed. If the answer is not there, it says it cannot confirm it and points to where it can be found. And when an update is confirmed, it goes into the concierge and everyone is told the same thing.

Updates go in once confirmedAt Rock & Dão, every update went into the concierge as soon as it was confirmed, from the official schedules to the food and the sold-out Premium tickets.
How it works

We set everything up with the organisers' information.

The organisers give us the information and confirm the updates. The rest is on us, from day one to the final report.

The official information

Together with the organisers, we gather what the public will ask: line-up, schedules, tickets, access, venue rules, services and the contact for each channel.

The event's brand

The concierge takes on the event's colours and logo, in the tone you choose, with the most common questions right on the start screen.

On your site or at its own address

It sits on the event website as a widget, or at its own address like chat.rockedao.pt, which you can share on social media, in the newsletter or on a QR code at the venue.

Updates, once confirmed

A time has changed, a ticket type has sold out? The update goes into the concierge as soon as the organisers confirm it.

The report at the end

Conversations stay in the panel, in plain sight for the organisers. At the end, we deliver an activity report, like the one Rock & Dão received.

Frequently asked questions

What organisers ask us.

What is an AI concierge for events?
It is an AI assistant for events and festivals that answers the public's questions (tickets, schedules, access and what they can bring) at any hour and in whatever language they write in, based on the organisers' official information. It lives on the event website or at its own address. It is the same AI concierge that looks after guests at holiday rentals, set up with your event's information.
Is an AI concierge the same as an event chatbot?
It is an AI chatbot, which is not the same as a menu chatbot. A festival chatbot with a button menu only answers the options someone wrote on the buttons. The AI concierge answers what each person writes, however they write it and in their own language, always from the event's official information. When the answer is not there, it forwards to the right channel instead of going back to the menu.
Can the concierge make up a time or a rule?
It is built to answer only from the event's official information. When the answer is not there, it says it cannot confirm it and points to where to find it: the box office, the official social media or the press office. At Rock & Dão, 73% of conversations were resolved on the spot and 18% forwarded to the right channel.
Which languages does it answer the public in?
Whichever language each person writes in, with no one having to pick a language. At Rock & Dão, it answered in five languages.
Where does the concierge live: on the event website or at its own address?
Wherever you prefer. It slots into the event website as a widget, or it gets its own address in the event's colours, like Rock & Dão's chat.rockedao.pt, to share on social media, in the newsletter or on a QR code at the venue. It can also answer on the organisers' WhatsApp, with the same information.
Does it work for trade fairs, conferences and sporting events too?
It does. The case we have published is a festival, Rock & Dão, but what the public asks changes little from one event to the next: at a conference, the badge, the programme and the room; at a trade fair, the opening hours and access; at a match, the gate, the seat and transport. We set up the concierge with your event's information and the questions your audience tends to ask.
Do the organisers see what the public asks?
They do. Every conversation stays in the panel, each one summarised, with statistics by day, by hour, by topic and by language, and with the questions that went unanswered. At the end, we deliver an activity report, like the one Rock & Dão received.
How much does an AI concierge for events cost?
It depends on the type of event, how long the concierge is open to the public and the languages. Tell us the essentials in the form and we will send you a proposal.
